Motul Pirelli Sherco Factory Team partners with JT Racing
JT Racing and the Motul Pirelli Sherco Factory Team have partnered up for the 2016 Australian Off-Road racing season. Team riders Justin Carafa and Wil Ruprecht will wear a combination of the Protek and Hyperlite Voltage jerseys and pants with the ALS 2.0 helmet.
"We are very excited about this newly-formed partnership between JT Racing and Sherco Australia,” said Trent Cramer from JT Racing Australia. “This is the first time an off-road team has represented the brand in Australia and we wanted to be part of a growing brand and saw a great opportunity to build a long-term relationship with a very professional Sherco outfit."
The JT Racing and Sherco partnership brings together the old and the new of dirt bike racing for what will be a powerful combination in 2016. JT Racing began in the late 1960s and went on to become the preferred brand for legendary motocross starts like Jeff Ward, Chuck Sun, David Bailey, Broc Glover, Johnny O’Mara, Ricky Johnson and the legendary Jean-Michel Bayle. In contrast, the Motul Pirelli Sherco Factory Team is only in its second year of competition but the combination of JT Racing and Sherco is strong.
“JT Racing is an iconic brand,” states Sherco Brand Manager Stephen Tuff. “And while it’s known as the gear on legends like Jean-Michel Bayle we’re breaking new ground in the Australian off-road scene this year and we’re proud to have JT Racing behind us. The gear looks fantastic and it’s built to perform, just like our race bikes.”
The Motul Pirelli Sherco Factory Team will officially debut the JT Racing gear at round one of the Australian Off-Road Championship at Kilkivan, Queensland on March 19.
